I- INTRODUCTION
The purpose of Staff Exchange
As part of staff capacity building, networking, and team spirit building among staff to gain more practical experience as well as new creative ideas to strengthen its programs and activities more effectively which are responding to works and beneficiary demands, Training Unit, Administration and Finance Unit, Public and Communication Unit have decided to choose Don Bosco Sihanoukvill because it is a social enterprise and international organization working with youth since 1991 and their vision, mission and goal are quiet similar to YRDP programs.
Based on their long term success and achievement, we believe that we can learn and draw a lot of knowledge, experiences about teaching methodology, and the way how they run the social enterprise and effective tool to strengthening staff capacity. Moreover, we also have a chance to build up network and corporation as well.
II- GOAL AND OBJECTIVE
Goal:
Staff can exchange knowledge and experience in order to strengthening staff capacity in accomplishment their tasks.
Objective: at the end of this activity all staff will be able to:
- Getting to know and understand each other working.
- Reflect to our own works and can identify their strength and weakness.
- Can explain the challenge, resolution and lesion -learned to each other.
- Exchange working experience to each other.
- Building good relationship with both staff and target group of our organization.
III- EXPECTATION
Following are the expectations of the three units of all staff exchange:
1. Training Unit
- Understanding how to manage programs or project, work plans effectively in order to achieve their set objectives.
- How to mobilize people to their program especially youth
- Training technique how to train youth to be social entrepreneurship?
- What should develop social enterprise curriculum?
- How to train the youth to be social enterprise?
- How to M&E trainees after training that show they are able to social enterprise?
- How to follow up the trainee?
- How to prepare thing before training?
- How to integrate them to commit in social work
- The way to maintain their commitment sustainability
- Working system (Information flow)
- Challenge, issue, solution and result of organization will to exchange.
- New strategies in solving a certain problem
2. Administration and Finance Unit
- To learn the experience about financial monitoring
- How to manage daily budget and transaction
- Expect to know more about Don Bosco and capture more experience
3. Public and Communication Unit
- To learn about the management style of upgrading website (programs for creating and developing website)
- How to collect information, to write and design newsletters/bulletins
- To see the consistency of the webhosting NGOs program and connected to other websites widely
- How to manage and promote Library
